As a barber, I use beard butter on all of my beard trim clients at the beginning of their service. I've been looking for a new product line to feature in my studio and I've finally found exactly what I've been looking for with True OG! The consistency is perfect. It melts right away in my hands to be applied and makes my clients' beards soft and easy to work with without being sticky or oily. It's luxurious and it's a perfect price point for my clients! Citrus forward scent with hints of sandalwood/cedar - this might be the perfect summer scent. The butter is great too - light, non-greasy finish.

I’ve bought this bottle twice, and the ingredients are second to none, plus the oil feels great on the skin. I got a handwritten thank you note both times with my order, which is an excellent touch. Amazing product! Love the scent and it keeps both my beard and skin underneath hydrated.

My only nit is that sometimes the bottle gets stuck closed and then spills a little when pulled open.

The beard wash by The Bearded Coast works well and makes my beard clean. I like the natural ingredients and design of the bottle.

Unfortunately the consistency of the shampoo changes a bit with temperature. I have experienced the same thing with other beard washes that primarily use natural ingredients. When the bathroom gets cold during winter, the shampoo's texture gets more creamy and less liquid. It's not a big issue, but it seems to have an influence on the lather and foam. This shampoo doesn't foam as much as other shampoos and I have to use quite a bit to create a nice lather. But maybe that just happens when it's cold.

The scent is subtle and doesn't last very long. I would describe it more as natural and organic according to ingredients such as coconut oil, hemp, olive, jojoba. I wouldn't mind if it had a fresher scent that lingered longer.

I really like the shape of the small bottle and the lid.

Overall I'm happy with it because it gently cleans by beard, and I appreciate all the natural ingredients.

Great product, doesn't appear or feel similar to the stuff you buy in stores. The oil scent is great, however doesn't last long, but it's a good refresh. My beard isn't long enough for the balm yet, so that's TBD.

I really like this beard butter. The smell is pleasant and it works really well. It's a little thicker than previous butters I've used, but once you warm it up in your hand real fast it spreads really well and does wonderful things for your beard.

So it’s been a long time since I’ve actually used any type of products on my beard. I think mostly just because there’s just so many products out there that have saturated the market and they either make my beard feel too greasy or dry or well just plain gross.
