We accept payment by debit/credit card as well PayPal. Any International orders will be charged customs taxes when delivered. Due to state tax laws, we are required to charge local sales tax for purchases made in the State of California.

Privacy & Security FAQ's

Bearded Coast Grooming Co. respects each and every one of our customer’s right to privacy. At no time will any business information (name, business address, phone number, purchase history, credit card information, etc.) given to us be sold to any other party. Meaning we do not release any information about you to other companies. Bearded Coast collects your name, shipping and billing address, phone number, and email when you shop and register with us. At Bearded Coast we do everything possible for our customers. We realize that without you, there is no us.

During the on-line order process, our secure order form requests contact, billing, and financial information. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and information of promotions/sales from our company to you. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you should we have questions regarding your order or should we need to notify you of the status of your order. The billing and financial information we collect is used only to bill you for the products you have purchased.

General FAQ's

Q. What is Beard Oil?

Answer:

Beard oil helps sooth the skin under your glorious beard. That is beard oil's main purpose. To keep that skin conditioned, and prevent that awful itch feeling. Beard oil also helps with the hair by softening, taming, shine, and if scented can leave it smelling awesome! Got some dry skin? No problem at all. Beard oil helps with that too. Our oil base is made up of all natural organic carriers oils. All of these oils have some different benefits, and we believe that our blend totally rocks!

 

Q. How much Beard Oil should I use?

Answer:

Many times people use too much oil. Too much can clog pores and cause acne, and too little just doesn't seem to help with the itching and overall beard health. We suggest starting with around 7 drops and if you need more add more. Every beard is different. Every persons skin is different too. You can always add a little more or use a little less next time to find your perfect amount. Experiment with what you feel works best for your beard.

 

Q. Are there any nut oils in your products?

Answer:

This is a big YES! If you have any know nut allergies, these products may not be right for you.

 

Q. What oils do you use in your Beard Oil?

Answer:

We use a blend of the oils listed below to create our special beard oil. All of the carrier oils we use are 100% natural and organic.

  • Coconut Oil
  • Hemp Seed Oil
  • Avocado Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Jojoba Oil
  • Apricot Kernel Oil
  • Argan Oil
  • Meadowfoam Seed Oil

We also use a combination of Fragrance and Essential oils to create our product scents. If you do not want ANY fragrance or essential oils check out our unscented True O.G.

 

Q. Do you do discounts or sales?

Answer:

Yes. We run promotions during various times of the year and give out discount codes. Subscribe to our emails, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get the knowledge.

 

Q. Are discount codes good for EVERYTHING?

Answer:

Discount codes are good for everything in the store except for our Apparel. All of our apparel is hosted by TeeSpring so our in house discount codes are not good for any apparel items. All discount codes are good for anything else in the store unless specifically stated otherwise.

Q. Can I buy your products anywhere other than your website?

Answer:

The only way to get genuine Bearded Coast products is directly through our website, or a retail location we actually list on our official website.

 

Q. What if I purchase a product that I don't like?

Answer:

If you don't like the scent, we totally get it. However, since we deal in cosmetics we don't do returns or exchanges.

Q. I'm a Reviewer/Influencer. Can you send me some products to review?

Answer:

Yes! We can accommodate some of these requests but not all unfortunately. Since we handcraft in small batches all of our products we have to account for not just the inventory, but the hours it takes to make the products. We have created some criteria below for these requests. 

  • YouTube - Must have at least 1000 subscribers.
  • Instagram - Must have at least 1000 followers.
  • Blog - Must have at least 6 months worth of beard content.
  • The most important is that the Reviewer/Influencer exhibits positive. qualities. We want to work with those that have positivity, and a good community.

Even if you may not meet these requirements you are totally still welcome to reach out. Every request will be considered and reviewed on a case by case basis. Thanks!

 

Q. I own a store/barbershop/salon and would like to see about stocking your products. Do you all do this?

Answer:

Yes! Please contact us providing us with details of your store and what your looking for. 

 

Q. Are your products tested on animals?

Answer:

NEVER. No, none of our products are in any way ever tested on animals.

 

Q. Do your products contain Phthalates?

Answer:

Nope. None of that stuff in our products.

Q. It's been hot and my beard butter and/or balm arrived grainy or not looking right. What do I do?!

Answer:

Sometimes during shipping all that temperature change can cause beard butter's and balm's especially with the summer heat. Butter's (especially shea) can be a bit sensitive to these temperature changes. If you receive your butter or balm and the consistency is off(grainy, little white pellets,hard texture) please use the bellow steps to fix it:

Note: Since we use glass these instructions are safe. Please remember to handle with care during this process to prevent spill and possible burning due to heating the product. The jar is glass and will become hot.

1. Remove the lid.

2. Place the butter/balm jar in the microwave.

3. Heat for a max of 15 seconds and check the consistency.

4. If it has not melted place the jar back in the microwave and repeat Step 3 until it has fully melted.

5. Once it has reached a liquid give it a gentle stir with a clean object like the backside of a spoon or fork. Don't go crazy you just want to give it a couple good gently stirs.

6. Place the cap back on the jar and carefully place it level in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. 

7. Remove the butter or balm jar and allow it to sit at room temperature for at least an hour.

8. You should now be able to use the product as it was intended!
